Grab your sneakers and the ugliest tie you can find and join us on Father’s Day for the 6th annual Ugly Tie 5K fun run! This family-friendly event features a full day of fun with an incredible 5K course and a Kid's Half-K along the scenic downtown Minneapolis riverfront. Prizes will be awarded for the ugliest tie.
This is a chip timed event and all finishers (including the kids!) will receive a commemorative Ugly Tie performance t-shirt, a medal to celebrate their achievement and a complimentary beverage after the race! Then, stick around for the Stone Arch Bridge Festival featuring 200+ artists, music and a car show. Kids Half-K starts at 9:45 a.m. and 5K starts at 10:00 a.m.

Race Route
Race Route: Beginning in downtown Minneapolis between the Mill City Museum and Guthrie Theater, the race heads down the hill towards the Bohemian Flats and back. The race is situated right next to Mill Ruins Park, which interprets the history of flour milling in Minneapolis and shows the ruins of several flour mills that were abandoned.
