2023 NILMDTS Virtual Candlelight Gathering

Join us on Sunday, October 15, 2023, for the NILMDTS Virtual Candlelight Gathering taking place in conjunction with the International Wave of Light to honor and remember the precious lives we have lost and provide solace and support to those who continue to navigate the profound journey of grief.

The International Wave of Light is International Pregnancy and Infant Loss Remembrance Day and is recognized worldwide. It's the culmination of Baby Loss Awareness Week within Pregnancy & Infant Loss Awareness Month. Our hope is that the Virtual Candlelight Gathering will connect you with other families in honoring and remembering all babies that have died way too soon.

Amidst the darkness, we believe in the power of collective light to ignite a flicker of hope. As the sun sets across time zones, we invite you to join us from the comfort of your home, and light a candle to symbolize the everlasting memory of those we hold dear. Together, we will create a radiant wave of luminosity, illuminating the world with love and compassion.

The Virtual Candlelight Gathering will include an online presentation with readings, music, and speakers to honor your baby. During the presentation, each baby is honored by having their name read aloud. Following the presentation, a Virtual Resource Library including additional speakers and musicians will also be available. Together, we will create a sense of community and support.

REGISTRATION DETAILS

- You must register by Friday, September 15th at midnight for your baby's name to be included on the program booklet and on the shirt. Registration items will be shipped and received prior to the event date. Online registration closes on Friday, September 15th.

$10.00 Registration Fee- **DOES NOT include an event T-shirt

**Only 1 Program Book will be included per household. Due to production limitations, the color of the shirt may vary.

BABY NAMES

When you register by Friday, September 15th at midnight, your baby's name will be included on the event t-shirt and in the program book and will be read aloud during the online presentation. No additional baby names can be added after online registration closes on September 15th, 2023.

ONLINE PRESENTATION

The presentation will be available online starting on Sunday, October 15, 2023. Participants will be provided with detailed instructions on accessing the presentation via email the night before the event and again the morning of the event. Following the presentation, a Virtual Resource Library including additional speakers and musicians will also be available.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Registration and add-on purchase fees (additional shirts, misc products, etc) are nonrefundable under all circumstances, including, but not limited to, cancellation of the event or of your participation, or change in the date and/or time, nature, or format of the event. In the event of a cancellation or change due to factors that threaten the safety of participants, staff, or volunteers, the money collected through registration fees will be used to propel the NILMDTS mission forward.
