Whether you're targeting your first ever 5K or returning to the activity after a hiatus, Fleet Feet has a beginner-friendly training program that will get you to the finish line of our most exciting 5K of the year: The BIG Run!
This 8-week, coached, and guided program, offers a balance of run/walk workouts, cross-training, and rest days to gradually and safely increase your fitness to the end goal of a 5k in June. The group setting will provide the fun, motivation, and accountability needed to stay the course and enjoy your experience while accomplishing your goals!
The Quad Cities Walk/Run 5K Training Group culminates with the BIG Run 5K on Global Running Day, Wednesday, June 7th. More than a race, The BIG Run is a celebration of all things running, and, the great community our activity pulls together.
This group will meet Wednesdays at 6:30 PM and Saturdays at 7 AM starting April 12.
