Q. I didn't get a Jersey when registering - is it too late to purchase one?
A. We have reduced entry fees and enabled riders to choose if they would like to purchase a Jersey this year. You can go into MyEvents Portal and add one to your registration for $40, while stocks last.
Q. Can we bring our Pet?
A. Hidden Vale Adventure Park is a Nature Refuge. No domestic animals are permitted on the property or at HVAP events.
Q. Are there water points throughout the courses?
A. Yes, there's water on course. Epic MTB refill points (approx) 13km, 23km, 39km, 52km (100km Epic Only), 72km (100km Epic Only).
Q. Is there a bottle drop option and how do I get them back?
A. Bottle drop is available. Please place bottles into marked bins at registration on Saturday or before 7am Sunday 10th of September. They will be returned once checkpoints are packed down and available to collect from the HVAP Trailhead on return. We will keep for a further 2 weeks after the event for collection.
Q. Can we practice the course, ride out and spectate or ride other trails during the event weekend?
A. All Hidden Vale Trails are CLOSED for the duration of the 99 Bikes Cycle Epic weekend. Only event participants will be permitted on the trails within their allocated event times. No riders are to be on track outside of your event. Saturday entrants are not permitted on trails on Sunday. Sunday entrants are not permitted on trails on Saturday.
Q. I have entered into the eBike 55km, can I use two (2) batteries? Are there any other rules?
A. Yes, you're welcome to use another battery however you won't be eligible for podium. eBikes are to be of Australian standard max 250W and must only be pedal assist up to 25km/h.
Q. What day is the 55km event?
A. The 55km Merida Pursuit is on Sunday 10th of September. Please arrive at the start in time for your 7:50am briefing
Q. How do I enter my child as it says they are under 18?
A. You will need to select - Registering Someone Else, before entering your details and then entering the child's details as the participant.
Q. Will my race plate and associated merchandise be sent out?
A. Everything available to be collected on-site prior to your event. Registration hours: Friday 1700hrs - 1900hrs, Saturday 0630hrs-1500hrs, and Sunday 0530hrs-0800hrs.
