Hike for Hospice donations will be accepted up until Friday June 30th at 11:59PM!
Join us on Sunday, June 25th for the 9th annual Hike for Hospice in support of Rotary Hospice.
This year, choose to Hike on your Site - whether that be at a family cottage, at your workplace or in your neighbourhood - or join us to hike the Tom Orr Trail at the Stratford Perth Museum.
All Hike on Your Site participants are invited to join us on Hike day for a moment of reflection, BBQ lunch, music and more!
On event day, we will have a limited quantity of T-shirts and water bottles to purchase at the venue.
Also, new this year is the Memorial Hikers' Wall. Submit your story* and a photo to be displayed in the hospice pre-event, and then again on event day at the venue (*please keep in mind space is limited).

Hike day Details:
- 10:30 am Registration
- 11:00 am Formal Greetings
- 11:15 am Walk as a group on the Tom Orr Trail
- 11:30 am BBQ lunch, music and activities for the young and young at heart
- 12:00 pm Fundraising Update
- 12:30 pm Closing Remarks
Hike on Your Site Details:
- Hike anywhere, anytime during the week of June 18 - 25, 2023
- Set a goal for your team ($350 pays for a day of care for one resident room, keep this in mind!)
- Recruit your colleagues, friends, family and classmates
- Challenge and compete for bragging rights!
- Join us on Hike day to reflect and celebrate the impact of your giving
We encourage all hikers to share your hike with us! Post your hike photos and tag @RotaryHospice on Instagram and @RotaryHospiceStratfordPerth on Facebook; we want to hear about your Hike for Hospice experience!
Please know, however and whenever you choose to take your steps, your actions will have an impact on all those who will call Rotary Hospice 'home'.
There is no cost for an individual to stay at Rotary Hospice, however, there is a cost. Rotary Hospice must fundraise $350 per day, per room. Your fundraising efforts will ensure that, in the words of Dame Cicely Saunders, founder of the modern day hospice care movement...
" You matter because you are you, and you matter until the end of your life. We will do all we can not only to help you die peacefully, but also to live until you die."
