Honoring our Veterans

Proceeds from this year's event will go to Honor Flight of Dubuque

Honor Flight of Dubuque and the Tri-States is a non-profit organization created solely to honor veterans living in Northeast Iowa, Southwest Wisconsin, and Northwest Illinois for all their sacrifices. We transport our heroes to Washington, D.C. to visit and reflect on their memorials.

Of all of the wars in recent memory, it was World War II that truly threatened our very existence as a nation and as a culturally diverse, free society. Now, with so many World War II, Korean, and Vietnam veterans dying each day, our time to express our thanks to these brave men and women is running out. On behalf of the Eagle Ridge Recreation Department, we would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in Eagle Ridge Resort & Spa’s Firecracker 5K Run/Walk and Kids Sparkler Sprint!

The race will be held Monday, July 3 at 8:00 a.m. Pre- Register by June 25th and receive entry into the race and a T shirt. Race day registration is open at 7am but does not guarantee your race shirt/size.

The race will be held at the Eagle Ridge North Golf Pro Shop.

Award Categories

Awards will be given to the first place overall male and female finishers and the top two male and female finishers in age groups: 19 and under, 35-49, 20-34, 50 and up.
