Ladysmith Primary School

Thank you so much for your donation and supporting Ladysmith Primary School!  Funds raised from this year's event will go towards:

1) Creating a new STEAM learning centre in our LPS courtyard (see photo below of existing courtyard). STEAM is an educational approach to learning that uses Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts and Mathematics as access points for guiding student inquiry, dialogue, and critical thinking. 

2) Resources for classrooms, field trips, swimming lessons, and artist and author visits.

3) Any remaining funds from this year's event will be put aside for the outdoor learning centre.

*please note we are not able to provide tax receipts for donations processed through Race Roster and they cannot be done after the fact.  Please reach out to the organizers at elementalrunwalk@gmail.com if you are interested in providing a donation and require a tax receipt as this will have to be done via a different process through School District 68. 

Existing Courtyard (Future STEAM Learning Centre)

In 2021 our LPS community raised an impressive $41,000 during the Elemental Fun Run and Walk fundraiser! Within weeks of the fundraiser your PAC was able to purchase a portable sound system for the gym, light tables, and microscopes with smart USB rapid chargers (see photos of some of the items below).  The rest of the funds were earmarked for our outdoor learning centre.
