Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled. We did not have enough registrations 2 weeks prior to the event to justify the expense and manpower required to hold the triathlon. We will try again next year so stay tuned!
Triathlon for kids ages 5 -12
Saturday, July 22nd 8:00 a.m.
Wells Community Pool, Bluffton Indiana
Every finisher receives a medal.
Awards to top 3 boy and girl age group winners in the following age categories:
5/6, 7/8, 9/10, 11/12.
Cost is $25 and includes an event t-shirt & finisher medal
SWIM (Life vests are allowed)
5/6 year olds swim the width of the pool
7/8 year olds swim 2 widths
All other age groups swim 50 meters.
BIKE
The bike route is 1 mile on blocked off neighborhood streets.
Racers must wear a fastened bike helmet and tennis/running shoes (NO CROCS).
Training wheels are accepted.
One chaperone may help enter the transition area and help their child find their bike and get the helmets and shoes on.
RUN
1/2 mile run is on a firm packed trail and road. One chaperone may run alongside their child who is age 6 or under.
