Natick Community Organic Farm 5K - At Lookout Farm

Join the flock to get outside, get moving, have some fun while supporting Natick Community Organic Farm!

PLEASE NOTE - 2023 FARM 5KM WILL BE HELD AT LOOKOUT FARM

Registration online will remain open until 10pm on Friday May 12 - after this it will be walk ups only!

We invite you to run, walk, saunter or mosey 5K through the beautiful orchards at Lookout Farm. Our scenic course is a 2 x 1.5 mile paved loop. The course starts from the car park next to the Greenhouse at Lookout Farm and will loop around and through the orchards and end up back at the Greenhouse car park.

All participants will receive a commemorative medal!

Proceeds will support NCOF's work including our scholarship fund, which provides financial assistance to students who would not otherwise be able to participate in the farm's extensive educational programs and to the farm's Teen Programs which offer paid work experience opportunities to local young people year-round.

If you register a group of 4 or runners/walkers before 12pm on Friday May 12 you will get a 20% discount!

RACE DAY DETAILS:

Check In / Registration

Race Day Registration will begin at 7:45/8am. We will accept race day registration up until 8:20am. A list of registered runners with your bib numbers will be posted online and at registration table on Race Day. Each participant will receive a NCOF 5km medal.

RACE DAY REGISTRATION IS AVAILABLE FROM 7:45AM TO 8:20AM ON SATURDAY. RACE WILL START AT 8.30AM

Parking

Enter Lookout Farm from Pleasant St S and drive pass the Greenhouse and parking lot on your left, after this there will be signs pointing you to go right into the car park which is tucked in behind a mini orchard. It's a two minute walk from the car park to the registration desk and start of the race.

The Race

Runners will start at 8:30am. We will start everyone at the same time however, we will ask those wanting to run to start at the front and those wanting to walk or just do one loop of the course to start at the back of the group. This will allow faster runners to make it through the course without too much congestion in some of the tighter trail areas and allow walkers to enjoy the route. Runners will be timed by “gun time.” Kids may run one loop, or the entire 5K race.

The Course

Whilst we are not at NCOF this year it will still be a beautiful farm run. The course weaves through the orchards at Lookout Farm along their paved pathways. If you are new to running, it is not a technical run but you should remain aware of your footing.

Please be sure to follow the directions of volunteers and course markings (there will be signs and flags to follow) to ensure you run the full course.

Kids in strollers can join the race

No dogs allowed

Refund Policy

We will issue full refunds until May 5. From May 6 no refunds will be made.

Post-Race & Awards

The Lookout Farm will be officially open for brunch from 10am however, there will be some item available from 9.30am for the race participants. NCOF Awards will be presented to the top 5km finishers.

We invite you to enjoy Lookout Farm and then head over to the Natick Community Organic Farm from 11am to enjoy our Family Farm Day which will include lots of fun family activities at the farm, from learning new things to meeting our animals. We hope to see you there!
