Raise money for McDougall House Recovery Home For Women
*For over 50 years McDougall House Association has offered compassion and support to thousands of women struggling with addiction to find their way from hopelessness to hope. Based in Edmonton, McDougall House is a 12 bed “second stage” residential addiction treatment facility for women. Many receive social assistance and have no place to go having lost connection to family, friends, and their support network. These women are battling not only for their future, but to have a positive impact and a better life for themselves, their children, their families, and to contribute to our communities. The McDougall House addiction treatment program is a safe and supportive place set in a home-like environment. We offer women the necessities to help them recover, heal, and find the support and strength they need to face the world. The recovery plan is unique to each woman and focuses on their individual goals. Our clients receive over twenty hours of therapeutic programming per week. The program comprises combination of group and one-to-one sessions. The one-to-one elements of the program are critical to the thorough approach taken by our team of councilors.
