My Story…
Hello friends & family! I will be running the Heel to Heal 5K on April 29 and all proceeds will go to The Healing Clinic, GW’s student-run free clinic providing primary care to underserved patients from DC, Maryland, and Virginia. I volunteer as a Patient Navigator at The Healing Clinic’s Bridge to Care Clinic on Thursday nights.
Donations will go towards clinic operations, including but not limited to covering the cost of patient lab tests, HIPAA compliant telehealth platforms, Personal Protective Equipment, administrative upkeep, and startup costs for our new Homeless Medicine Initiative branch.
For each donation, I will…
$1 – Send you a truth is
$5 – Send you a song that reminds me of you
$10 – Mail you a DC postcard with a short message
$20 – Pin a picture of you to my shirt on race day
$50 – Write you a heartfelt letter
$100 – Let you pick what I wear on race day (one person - claimed)
