Join me for JCYC’s 13th Annual SF Aloha Run on Sunday, September 24th at Crissy Field in San Francisco!

This year's SF Aloha Run For Hope is focused on the future and young people who will one day be our community leaders. Proceeds from the 2023 SF Aloha Run for Hope will support JCYC’s scholarship programs which supports young people in pursuing higher education. This year, the organization is excited to announce that funds raised from the run will be used to launch the inaugural Julie Matsueda Believe Scholarship in addition to supporting the Excellence, Pathways and Thomatra Scott scholarship programs.

Claire, why do you choose to work at JCYC?

I've been working at Chibi Chan Preschool for more than five years. A friend introduced me to work in this school. Before I came, I didn’t know that it belongs to JCYC. I never heard about JCYC before, and none of my friends heard about it. Since I came to work here, they all know it so far. I think one of the things that kept me working at the school for so long was about religious liberty. They all know my religion and give it respect. This is something I am very grateful for.
