SF Aloha Run for Hope

5K, 10K & Virtual Run
Join us for JCYC’s 13th Annual SF Aloha Run on Sunday, September 24th. The 5k, 10k, and Keiki Run will take place at Crissy Field located in San Francisco.
The virtual race will run from Sunday, September 24th through Sunday, October 1st.
Titled, SF Aloha Run For Hope, this year's run is focused on the future and young people who will one day be our community leaders. This is a unique opportunity for individuals of all ages and backgrounds to be a part of an uplifting and healthy activity which promotes a better future for children and youth of all backgrounds.
Our goal is to contribute to a movement by engaging runners and walkers across the country in lifting up positive messages of hope. The 2023 SF Aloha Run For Hope is a platform for all of us to educate and lead by example through individual acts of kindness and compassion. All participants will receive a distinctive race technical t-shirt and medal.
Proceeds from the 2023 SF Aloha Run for Hope will support JCYC’s scholarship programs which supports young people in pursuing higher education. This year, the organization is excited to announce that funds raised from the run will be used to launch the inaugural Julie Matsueda Believe Scholarship in addition to supporting the Excellence, Pathways and Thomatra Scott scholarship programs.
In Support of Maui:
Our hearts are with everyone affected by the wildfire in Maui. JCYC will be donating a portion of the proceeds from this year's SF Aloha Run For Hope to the Hawai'i People's Fund: Maui Aloha The People's Response. The fund will provide immediate on the ground support to organizations providing relief efforts.

- Running teams must have a minimum of 5 members
- Running teams will be provided with an access code to get 20% off
- Running teams can be organized by a business or by an individual

As this is a fundraising event to support scholarships for youth, registration is standard for participation.
- If you have a child(ren) interested in the Keiki Mile and you would like to accompany them, please register yourself for the Keiki Mile.
- If you have a child(ren) participating in the Keiki Trot only, only the child needs to register, parents/guardians do not need to register.
- If you have children participating in the Keiki Mile and the Keiki Trot, and you would like to accompany your child, registration is required for the Keiki Mile only.
