My Story…
Hello!
On Sunday, September 24th, 2023, the Japanese Community Youth Council will be hosting our 13th Annual San Francisco Aloha Run at the scenic Crissy Field in San Francisco. On behalf of JCYC’s Board of Directors and Staff, I would like to invite you to be a proud donor of the 2023 San Francisco Aloha Run for Hope. Proceeds from this year's run will provide scholarships for low-income, first-generation college students through the JCYC Scholarship Programs. Please see the attached JCYC Scholarship Program document for more details about these scholarships.
Serving over 7,000 children and youth annually through our Child Development, Youth Development, Youth Workforce, and College Access Programs, JCYC has become the largest provider of youth workforce and college access services in San Francisco. We recently celebrated our 53rd year of service to the community and are proud to have been selected as a 2023 California Nonprofit of the Year.
With last year's event succeeding in providing scholarships to 46 recipients from 19 different schools, the San Francisco Aloha Run is an opportunity to change the lives of underprivileged youth.
We thank you in advance for your support and consideration. Please let me know if you have any questions.
