My Story…
Join me for JCYC’s 13th Annual SF Aloha Run on Sunday, September 24th at Crissy Field in San Francisco!
This year's SF Aloha Run For Hope is focused on the future and young people who will one day be our community leaders. Proceeds from the 2023 SF Aloha Run for Hope will support JCYC’s scholarship programs which supports young people in pursuing higher education. This year, the organization is excited to announce that funds raised from the run will be used to launch the inaugural Julie Matsueda Believe Scholarship in addition to supporting the Excellence, Pathways and Thomatra Scott scholarship programs.
Lisa, why do you choose to work at JCYC?
I choose to work at JCYC because of the sense of community within the workplace. From the time I first started, 20-plus years ago, I've always felt valued as an employee. My managers have always shown flexibility in my work schedule when needed and throughout my years I've always felt in my work that it was a partnership (team), whether it be with my classroom team or with managers. In addition, the Chibi Chan mission is inline with how I view Early Childhood Education - supporting young children in all areas of development as a whole and providing individual support to those that need it.
Donate to help Lisa raise money for SF Aloha Run for Hope’s fundraising campaign.
