A series of running events to suit all levels set in the wilderness of Nova Scotia on our old E2C stomping grounds.

K9 Recreational - 5 km
Facilities, Aid stations (food & water), and lots of Route support will be onsite each day. Much of the support is from our Halifax Search and Rescue volunteers so don't be shy about saying hello!
We have attempted to stage the timing to allow racers to participate in multiple events. You can select the No Shirt option when registering for an additional event to receive a discount.
Dog events:
All racers will be spaced based on timing provided during registration.
For the competitive race the proper harness & leads must be worn.
For the recreational event more variance is allowed in leads & harnesses/collars.
In all cases racers must demonstrate control of your dog throughout the race.
There will be garbage cans for the disposal of dog waste. Please ensure you leave the forest and trails clean.
Trail runs:
The course consists of a mix of logging roads, ATV trails, and single track trails. All courses are in a loop formation. These are routes are great for new and experienced trail runners.

This is a 10 KM loop through Nova Scotia's wilderness. A mix of ATV trails, single track, and definitely some water features.
