Race Info:
The Night Thing 2023 is a trail race event put on by Race Huron, that takes place along the Maitland Trail, starting at the Auburn Riverside Retreat in Auburn, Ontario.
- A 7K, for anyone looking to try a trail race for the first time, and challenging enough for seasoned trail runners to enjoy.
- The 12 K starts at 7:00pm at The Auburn Riverside Retreat
- The 7K starts at 7:20pm at The Auburn Riverside Retreat. Please be there 30 min prior to your race start time to check in and get your shirt.
- Bring a Headlamp, you are running in darkness

Refund Policy
The fees for this event are completely non-refundable or transferable, even for health or injury related events. In the extremely unlikely event that the event is completely cancelled due to weather, and the event is not rescheduled for this year, your fees (less the online registration fees) will be applied to next years race. All proceeds go to the local community and/or charitable organizations so in the event you are unable to participate, please understand that your fees will go towards supporting a good cause.
