Alcanzando Inc

Alcanzando provides direct services for children, families, and professionals. Additionally, webinars, conferences, and television and radio interviews are conducted by Alcanzando to further raise awareness of autism in Latin America. Alcanzando also works closely with preschools, schools, and pediatricians to provide support and services. 

For direct services for children, Alcanzando provides approximately 120 monthly early autism detection screenings and evaluations to children in Latin America, Spain, and Spanish-speaking children in the United States. From 2014 until 2021, Alcanzando co-sponsored an early intervention center for children with autism and their families in Lima, Peru. Specialized programs were evaluated and implemented in Ecuador, Chile, Argentina, and Spain in 2015 and they continue to provide early detection and resources to remote areas in these countries.

Under the Naturalistic Developmental Behavioral Intervention Model mediated by parents we are able to provide services to children and families without the restrictions of distance.  Families living in cities without any resources are now able to learn how to help their children acquire communication, play and social skills with significant positive outcomes.   Funds raise this year will go directly to providing families with by-weekly consultations services with a psychologist specializing in early intervention in autism so that during a 6-month program they can teach their children those communication, play and social skills they do not yet have.  Our goal is to do this for 100 families!
