2023 TREE HOUSE HALF MARATHON FAQs
When is the race?
The 2023 Tree House Half Marathon will be taking place on Sunday, September 17, 2023. The race will begin at 8:30 with a rolling start for all participants.

The race will begin at our South Deerfield location, 1 Community Place, South Deerfield, MA 01373
What is the course?
What are the hydration opportunities on course?
There are 7 hydration stations on course, with roughly 1.5 miles between each hydration opportunity.
What elevation can I expect?
What is the max run time?
The maximum run time for this race is 3.5 hours. All runners should be off the course by 1 pm.
What is included with my race registration?
All Tree House Half Marathon Participants will receive a medal, two drink tickets, a warm-soft pretzel, and a local cider donut for taking part in the race.
For the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners in both the men’s and women’s divisions, an additional monetary prize will be awarded.

What is included with the non-runner spectator ticket?
The non-runner spectator ticket provides you with entry to the event and two Tree House Craft Beverages of your choice (including non-alcoholic options).
What can I expect as a volunteer?
All volunteers will receive a wristband to attend our exclusive post-race party along with a free volunteer T-Shirt and a drink ticket.
Volunteers will be able to park on-site though Water station volunteers may choose to drive their car to their designated water station and then arrive at the brewery premises after their shift to attend the post-race event. Volunteers will be given a parking pass to ensure they are parked in the correct area.
When and where can I pick up my race bib?
Bib pick up will take place at our South Deerfield Brewery, 1 Community Place, South Deerfield, MA 01373.
Bib Pick Up Times:
Thursday, September 14: 4 pm - 9 pm
Friday, September 15: 11 am - 9 pm
Saturday, September 16: 11 am - 9 pm
During Bib Pick Up on Saturday, we will be offering pizza by the slice to accommodate the influx of runners
Proof of identification will be required to pick up the bib packet. Photos/copies of IDs are acceptable if one person is picking up bibs for multiple people.
**There is no race day bib pick up**
I can’t make it during the designated bib pick up times, what do I do?
A friend or family member can pick up your bib on your behalf. Please provide them with a copy or photo of your license/identification to help us ensure your bib gets to the right person.
How is my bib number determined?
During Bib Pick Up, Runners will present a QR Code that links us to their registration information. Runners will be assigned a Bib Number in the order in which they arrive.
I ordered a T-Shirt. When will I receive that?
Race T-Shirts will be distributed during bib pick up
How do I attend this event?
Our Deerfield Brewery will be closed to the public during this event. All runners, spectators, and volunteers regardless of age must have a wristband in order to enter this event.
We will have two wristband colors, one for our guests who are 21+ and one for guests under 21. Please be sure to bring valid and current proof of identification if you intend to consume alcoholic beverages.
If a runner picks up their bib in person during the allotted bib pick up times, they will be provided with a wristband that verifies they have checked in for the event. This wristband must be worn on race day to attend the after race event.
If a runner is unable to pick up their bib in person, we will use their bib as proof of purchase and assist in providing a wristband on race day.
Spectators will receive a QR code from Tixr via email. This QR code will be scanned at our check in area at the brewery on race day to confirm proof of purchase so that we can provide a wristband. Please note that each QR code can only be scanned once.
Volunteers will be provided with a wristband along with a volunteer t-shirt at check in.
I am bringing gear with me on race day. Will there be a gear check?
Runners will be provided with a bag during bib pick up that can be used for gear check. Please note, any items that runners wish to check must fit in this bag.
Gear Check will be available to runners in a designated location inside the brewery on race day. Gear will be stored in sections based on Bib Number.

Bus Pickup at Traffic Circle
Parking passes based on your lot assignment along with a map will be distributed to runner’s during bib pick up. Spectators and Volunteers will receive a printable parking pass and map via email.
Parking passes are non-transferrable and should not be duplicated.
Shuttles will be available to transport all ticket holders from their parking lot to Tree House. Shuttles will run in loops from parking lots to the brewery and back.
