Obstacle racing is back in Sudbury! We are excited to bring you the Apex X! This obstacle race is a chance for locals to come together, bond, and push themselves to their limits in a supportive and exhilarating environment. If you are familiar with Miners Mayhem and missing them, don't worry, they are back with more obstacles, more running, and more mud!
You will have the opportunity to conquer a range of obstacles that will challenge you both physically and mentally. With walls to climb, log carries, monkey bars, hills, mud, cargo nets, and more; you will need to rely on your strength, agility, and endurance to make it through the course.
Participants can choose between a 6 km and 12 km course, and the event is designed for anyone looking for team-building and a fun experience. Participants can run the trails at Kivi Park and train at Apex Warrior to prepare for the race. Registration for the race is NOW OPEN, with the event scheduled to take place on August 19, 2023.
Proceeds of the event will support the Northern Cancer Foundation and Kivi Park. Every dollar that you, the participants personally fundraise will be donated to the Northern Cancer Foundation and will support leading cancer care, vital equipment purchases, and world-class research at the Shirley and Jim Fielding Northeast Cancer Centre, right here in Sudbury. You’re not just running a race, you’re saving lives!
Apex X is an exciting event that will bring together people of all ages, fitness levels, and backgrounds. We promise it will be a muddy and challenging event that will create lasting memories for all who participate; this is something you don't want to miss out on!
