Our story…
This is Team Dragon's 5th year raising money for hart. Unfortunately it is the 1st year without the big boy himself. Dragon passed away at the end of February last year. He was 12 years old and lived the best life possible thanks to hart. Losing him was horribly painful and so many people mourned with us. He was loved by more people than I ever would have imagined possible.
I decided to continue "Team Dragon" in hopes of keeping his memory alive as well as to help hart. This past year has been the worst I have seen in terms of rescues struggling. As a very dedicated volunteer I know first hand the pain, stress, and tears that volunteers are faced with.
Prior to last year's total, Team Dragon had raised over $14,000. Then something phenomenal happened... Team Dragon raised $11,221 in 2022. Our supporters BLEW US AWAY! That means going into 2023 Team Dragon has raised over $25,000.

I truly believe Dragon is smiling that big silly smile of his up in Doggy Heaven. I miss him dearly.
