Kids of STEEL

As a runner, you already know how movement can make a huge difference in your life. This is your opportunity to use your love of running to positively impact the trajectory of thousands of kids’ lives right here in our community.

If every runner in the Fleet Feet Liberty Mile would donate $5 to the Kids of STEEL program, they could provide 300 race registrations to kids in low-income areas or 100 pairs of running shoes to children who can’t afford proper running footwear.

Kids of STEEL is P3R’s free youth program promoting health and wellness through more than 225 schools and community sites in our region. Kids of STEEL programs rely on your generosity and support to help youth in our communities.

• A $15 donation will help support the volunteers who facilitate the Kids of STEEL program in their community through gear, resource materials, educational events, appreciation efforts, and more.
• A $25 donation will provide a free P3R race registration to a child in need
• A $75 donation will provide one kid with proper running footwear
• A $100 donation will provide physical fitness equipment to one of 225+ Kids of STEEL sites
• A $500 donation will help transport one Kids of STEEL team to a P3R race (like the Kids Marathon, Liberty Mile, Junior Great Race, and more)
• A $1,000 donation will support the number of FREE events we offer to our local communities, including Youth MOVE Day, Kids of STEEL Fest, and more

All donations to Kids of STEEL are 100% tax deductible.
