South Asheville Turkey Trot presented by Hunter Subaru

The first 1,500 participants to sign up will receive a commemorative South Asheville Turkey Trot finisher medal! All participants who register by November 5th at midnight will also receive a FREE cozy, 'Gobble til you Wobble' Turkey Trot shirt with their registration! After that date, shirts will be available for $20 during registration in limited sizes and quantities. We cannot guarantee that we will have extra shirts for sale on race day.

Pre-event shipping: If you'd like to skip the packet pickup session, or you'd just like to sleep in a bit longer on race day, you can have your packet mailed to you before the race! This option is available until November 5th at midnight.

To encourage the entire family to come out and run together, all participants 12 and under can register for just $25, until November 19th at midnight! After that time, the price will increase to $30 until the day of the event (discount is automatically applied at check out). The first 1,500 participants to register still get a finisher medal, and the free shirt deadline (November 5th) still applies to these registrants.

In it for the fun and not to win the race? The South Asheville Turkey Trot presented by Hunter Subaru features a “Best Dressed Turkey” Contest each year!

The Best Dressed in turkey-themed costumes and attire for both award categories will receive a special turkey-themed prize!

Get the family together, throw on all your turkey swag and show up to kick off your holiday with this fun annual tradition as you gobble and trot your way through Biltmore Park! You know you love a little friendly competition with friends & family!

The Best Dressed Turkey Group winners will receive 2 passes to Winter Lights at the North Carolina Arboretum (each pass allows one car full.)

If you can't make it to the day-before packet pickup session, you'd like to sleep in an extra few minutes on race day, or you'd just like to avoid the hassle of packet pickup altogether, this is the option for you! You can purchase the pre-event mailing option up until November 5th at midnight, either during registration or from the Race Store.

Participants can join us either in-person or virtually (or a combo of both) for these three races:

And will get an awesome 'Holiday Hustle' medal on New Year's Day! To enter the Holiday Hustle series, just sign up for each of the three events listed above and you will be automatically added. The deadline to register for the three races in the series to get the medal is Wednesday, November 1st, 2023. There's no better way to get through the holidays than crushing goals and winning extra bling!

NEW FOR 2023: Plan to complete the Holiday Hustle Series and proudly show off your accomplishment with a personalized, Holiday Hustle Dri-Fit Shirt, available in unisex and women’s sizes.

Shirts will be personalized on the back with the names of all participants who register for all three events in the series before the November 5th deadline!

Shirts will be given out at the New Year's Resolution Run.

Resolution Run Asheville Start your New Year on the right foot! Join us in downtown Asheville, NC for the 10th Annual New Year's Resolution Run 5K & 10K presented by Hunter Subaru on New Year's Day.

Bare Bones Brew Haus will be onsite serving up delicious coffee, espresso, and more!

Improving the Lives of Our Nation's Veterans and First Responders in Need by Helping Them Get Off The Couch™ and Reengage in Living an Active, Meaningful & Productive Life Through Our Outdoor Adventures, Warrior PATHH and Disaster Response Mission Programs.

The US Department of Veterans Affairs states that more than 6,000 Veterans die by suicide each year, and other statistics show that twice as many First Responders die by suicide than in the line of duty. By gathering together Sheep Dogs who have suffered similar traumas & experiences, SDIA has found that the camaraderie and peer support they receive fosters healing and is critical to their overall well-being. When Sheep Dogs #GetOffTheCouch™, their attitude, motivation and perspective are drastically improved. Your generous support allows SDIA to ENGAGE, ASSIST & EMPOWER our nation’s heroes to Get Off The Couch™ with their brothers & sisters, which prevents suicides in our Veteran and First Responder communities

Your donations will go to the following programs/causes:

• Christmas Eve first responders care packages - will deliver these to every first responder, EMS, and law enforcement in various counties.
• Holiday program - for helping Sheep Dog families in need with a Christmas meal and donations towards children's gifts
• Warrior PATHH for veterans and first responders - This program helps veterans and first responders struggling with PTSD through a 5 day program, followed by 18 months of online meetings and support.
