2023 H4H Mega Bounce Event

Hearts for Healthcare is a non-profit, registered charity developed to enhance and enrich the quality of our local healthcare. Our focus is on medical professional attraction and retention, raising community awareness, purchasing necessary medical equipment, and providing facility upgrades within our local healthcare community.

Hearts for Healthcare is pleased to announce that we are bringing back the H4H Mega Bounce Event this year!! With more fun, more family, more BOUNCE!!!

At Hearts for Healthcare we feel strongly that bringing people together keeps us stronger, happier and healthier. It is our hope that The H4H Mega Bounce Event will do just that. It will happen Friday & Saturday, September 8th & 9th at the Cold Lake Energy Centre north fields along Highway 28. Participants are asked to make a $25 donation for adults and $15 for youth (18 and under) and with that you will receive a locally made custom medallion from Marigold Lane Creative (for everyone registered) and a community sourced swag bag (for first 250 people registered). New this year is a 10K and 5K fun run with our friend Daru Pretorius on the Friday evening. Join us afterwards for our Cold Lake Brewing & Distilling Refreshment Gardens with craft beer and coolers and beverage and food options for everyone from Pourhouse Food Truck. DJ Kyle McGauley with 86 Cancer will be there spinning some killer tunes too!!

Our goal this year is to further support our main initiatives and spotlight the incredible team at the Cold Lake Primary Care Network. The CLPCN provides a fully integrated primary care delivery model that consists of Family Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses and Support Staff. Patients receive care through Walk In, Infusion, Chronic Disease Management and Well Women Clinics. Your fundraising efforts will support the request of additional equipment for the newly established infusion clinic that this year serviced over 700 patients allowing those people to receive care at home, significantly reduce wait times and relief pressure on our emergency room. We are so proud of the success of this Program and are excited to see the growth into other services and support even more of our community members.

Event Kits: Marigold Lane Creative Custom Medals for every registrant and community sourced swag bags for first 250 people registered. They can be picked up on Friday, September 8th or Saturday, September 9th at our Mega Bounce Event at the North Fields at the Cold Lake Energy Centre. Participants can choose to make an additional $10 donation to receive an upgraded medal with resin. Participants registered in the 10K or 5K Loop option on Friday will receive a special upgraded 10K/5K Medal with resin. Those registering after September 4th will be given an alternate date to pick up their medals, but do not worry, you will get one :-)

Location: Our MEGA BOUNCE EVENT is on September 8th & 9th at the North Soccer Fields and along Hwy 28 at the Cold Lake Energy Centre!

MEGA BOUNCE OBSTACLE COURSE - 5K ROUTE - 10K ROUTE

Bounce: Join us on Friday, September 8th for our Evening Mega Bounce and/or Saturday, September 9th for our Mega Bounce Event. Join us for a 10K, 5K, or just the Mega Bounce Obstacle Course followed by snacks and refreshments on Friday, September 8th. Register once, bounce twice and join us again Saturday, September 9th for the Mega Bounce Obstacle Course. This year our 9 inflatables will be set up in an obstacle course style and you can come at your registered time, stay as long as you like and take in all the fun things with your family and group.

We also have prizes...THE HEARTS AWARD = to the top participant fundraiser and BEST TEAM SPIRIT AWARD from The Casual Canoe = the team with the best costumes, highest fundraising total, best social media posts and/or largest team registered, as well as, many door prizes for participants from local businesses. Special Raffle prizes for those registered in our 10K and 5K loops and raise over $200 in donations. This year up for grabs is a Samsung Jet 60 Vacuum from Furniture Galaxy Cold Lake and also An Inflatable Paddle Board and $100 gift card to Canadian Tire from Canadian Natural!!!!

We appreciate all your help in spreading the word of the event by posting/sharing your experience, building your teams and challenging others to join but it is not mandatory in order to receive your Swag Bags and Medals...remember it is all for fun and your health!
