DON’T LET A MATE GET AWAY is our story for Jack, who sadly lost his life to suicide on 16 November 2021. Jacko was all about fishing with his mates, especially catching the biggest “Barramundi” in his special secret spots. To keep Jacks' memory alive, we hope to promote suicide prevention and awareness throughout the community, and that it’s okay not to be okay.




Event schedule

The event schedule is as follows:

26/08/2023        Registration Opens 7am at Seaforth Esplanade
26/08/2023        Weigh in 2pm to 4pm at Seaforth Esplanade
27/08/2023        Weigh in 7am to 12pm at Seaforth Esplanade
27/08/2023        Entertainment 12pm to 2pm

Event shirts are available for separate purchase. These can be collected from Seaforth Esplanade from 7am 26/8/23 to event close 2pm on 27/8/23
