Help Immigrant Children Find Safety!
After the horrors of the family separation policy enacted by the Trump administration came to light (see Caitlin Dickerson's Pulitzer Prize-winning investigative report for the Atlantic from August 2022, "We Need to Take Away Children"), I wanted to do something to help innocent children entering our country with hopes of a better life. A 5k that will fundraise for one of the most effective advocates of these children, The Young Center for Immigrant Children's Rights, seems like the least I can do.
