The 13th Annual Run for Calgary will be held on Sunday, October 1st, 2023.
We are happy to be partnering with and raising funds for the Calgary Drop-In Centre. Let's thank this outstanding organization and continue to show our support this year!
Run for Calgary is organized by volunteers of Mercy4Mankind (M4M), a part of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Youth Association (AMYA). M4M initiatives include:
- charitable runs from coast to coast;
- blood clinics;
- food drives;
- refugee resettlement; and
- establishment of model villages in Africa

10 KM Run Closed
The 10 kilometer run will begin at St. Patrick's Island. Participants will head west from the south side of the island, all the way to the 5th Ave bridge. From there, the participants will cross over to Memorial Drive and run eastward along the Bow River, taking the pathway all the way up to Telus Spark Science Centre. Participants will turn around at Telus Spark, head all the way to St. George's Island, and return to St. Patrick's Island using the pathways on the south side of the Bow River.

3 KM Run Closed
The 3 kilometer run will begin in the Confluence Plaza area of St. Patrick's Island. Participants will walk / run across the Zoo Bridge and head east along the south side of the Bow River. The will cross the Elbow River Traverse, continuing along the RiverWalk until they get to the George King Bridge, which they will then cross to return to St. Patrick's Island.
