Get your GOLD on YQR and Join us in our fight to end Childhood Cancer. You can join us at the West Lawn / Wascana Park Legislative Grounds for a physical run/walk event on September 23, 2023.


We are a community that believes every child deserves to grow up healthy, and we're working together to make that happen. More than just a run/walk, this event is an opportunity for you to make a difference in your community. All proceeds from the event go toward improving medical technology, increasing access to care, and supporting local families affected by childhood cancer.

Let's continue making a difference and join us again for our annual Run/Walk for Childhood Cancer. With so many different ways you can get involved—from registering as a runner/walker or volunteer donating money or time—you can help make this year's event our biggest success yet!

You'll get to spend time with family and friends while helping us raise funds that will go directly toward research into better ways to treat Childhood Cancer, families in need of financial support, and spreading awareness.

9:30 a.m. CST - Registration opens (Registration tent located on the West Lawns) - Light snacks

10:30 a.m. CST - 10 km – Warm-Up

10:40 a.m. CST - 10 km - Start

10:50 a.m. CST - 5 km – Warm-Up

11:00 a.m. CST - 5 km - Start

11:00 a.m. CST - 2 km – Warm-Up

11:15 a.m. CST - 2 km - Start

11:30 a.m. CST - BBQ Burger & Hotdogs & Prizes

FACT: Did you know that people use social media for an average of 144 minutes every single day? That's almost 2.5 hours/day.

FACT: Treatment in many cases lasts for 3.5 years - that's A LOT of minutes.

THE CHALLENGE: Because we all know that social media is a big part of our lives, we've created this challenge to help you make a difference in the fight against Childhood Cancer. The #GOGOLD CHALLENGE is an easy way to help change the world. Just set aside 10 minutes from your favourite social media platforms to spread the word about how you're going to #GOGOLD this September.
