Feed Northland Kids is excited to host the 13th Annual Bill Cross 5K Run/Walk on Sunday October 15th at 8AM at Zona Rosa. The run is in memory of Bill Cross, former Mayor of Gladstone and a devoted teacher, coach, administrator, mentor and role model for more than 35,000 area students. All funds raised from this event will support Feed Northland Kids programs including BackSnacks in partnership with Harvesters, In-School Food Pantries, and Community Food Kits.

Hungry children aren't just statistics or sad stories. They are real and they live in all of our communities. At Feed Northland Kids, it is our mission to change their reality. We work with our devoted volunteer base to provide weekend BackSnacks via our partnership with Harvesters - the Community Food Network. We also operate in-school pantries in school buildings across the Northland and we feed entire families via our Community Food Kit program. It’s food that keeps our local kids and families going... and growing... strong. Our goal is that no child in the Northland goes hungry. Join us and help feed the 1 in 7 food-insecure kids here in Clay and Platte Counties.
