Help Shannon raise money

Firstly, Thank you for taking the time to look through this page. A long time friend and his incredibly sweet wife sent us one of Bridget Bunnies Comfort Kits and I was blown away by how truly special these kits are, along with reading about this foundation and how they hold a run every year dedicated to paying tribute to those little lives we sadly had to say goodbye to far too early.

 As many of our friends and family know, we have sadly experienced four incredibly hard losses. Three back to back this year, and one a few years ago. Its something you never think you will experience, and I wouldn't wish this kind of pain on anyone. I decided in my last two miscarriages, I would open up publicly about our little ones as I was struggling with how alone I felt, and the self hate that was developed from feeling like I have failed as a woman. It was a huge step to take, and I wasn't sure how the response would be, but I have zero regret in doing so. 

Since opening up about our losses, we have received multiple messages from friends who found the posts comforting and allowed them to feel less alone about their losses, and this did exactly the same for me too. Along with the vulnerability those have shared with me, it has made me realize we have such incredible people in our lives fully behind us as our support team. We can never truly put into words how grateful we are to each and every single person who has reached out, sent flowers, opened up about their losses, and went out of their way to just simply let us know they were here if we needed them. 

We have decided to participate in Bridget's Run for Pregnancy and infant loss. We will be in Barrie October 21st to do our 5 km walk/run in memory of our four beautiful angels we dreamed of meeting but went to heaven far too soon. We will also be there while remembering all the other beautiful souls we have learned about from our fellow friends.

 If anyone would like to donate in memory of our little ones, or have their own little angels they would like to donate for in honour of their memory, any amount is greatly appreciated. All funds go towards supplying the foundation with funds to create and gift other women/ families with a comfort kit. We would be so appreciative as we know first hand how special that package can be showing up on a day that feels heavy thanks to our lovely friends. Truly meant the world.
