Today is Pregnancy & Infant loss remembrance day.
I in 4 pregnancies end in loss…that’s a lot of people suffering in silence. I am 1 in 4. Here is my story.
It has been 6 months since we found out we lost one of our twins. March 24th was my 20 week OB appointment where we were excited to see our twins and find out their gender. Instead we found out our little twin A's heart had stopped. On July 27th I delivered both babies to earth side (Twin A was born sleeping) Twin B born a healthy baby boy. Our delivery day was a mix of grief, sorrow, and joy. During my miscarriage journey I reached out to a charity @ Bridgets bunnies here in Barrie, Ontario. Theresa from Bridget’s bunnies reached out and provided me with a comfort kit. It was so nice to know we’re not alone on this grief journey.
For those mums and dads that have experienced this loss please know that you are not alone. Your feelings and pain are real and they are seen, heard and valid. If anyone is going through loss and needs someone to talk to please reach out <3
On October 21st our family is running in the 5km Bridget’s run in memory of our Angel (Lily). Your support would be greatly appreciated.

Bridget's Run for Pregnancy and Infant Loss is a 1km or 5km charity fun run, walk or hop in support of Bridget's Bunnies Pregnancy and Infant Loss Foundation and individuals and families experiencing loss.
Bridget's Bunnies is dedicated to ensuring no one endures pregnancy or infant loss alone through our comfort kit program. Comfort kits include items such as memory makers, books and resources, letters to the parents, and bunnies or special charms to provide gentle direction and compassion in the days following loss.
Comfort Kits are shipped at no cost to recipients or partner organizations. Bridget's Bunnies relies entirely on donations to fund our work.
Our Comfort Kits are available in hospitals and midwifery clinics throughout Simcoe Muskoka and select locations in Ontario, including Ottawa, Sudbury, and Etobicoke. Comfort Kits are currently available on-demand through our website as well.
Bridget's Bunnies was founded in memory of beautiful Bridget Bell Morrison who was unexpectedly born still one day shy of her due date.
