Malaysia Open Water Race is Here
In these past two years, COVID-19 restrictions have changed the way we socialize and convene our events. However, with technology and innovation on our side, we were still able to bring together more than 200 swimmers from across Asia in a virtual event that was nothing short of thrilling.
But now, the sea calls us back to its waves, and Swim Expo Asia is excited to announce that the multi-event swim race format is returning in Sep 2023! Set on the stunning island of Pulau Tinggi, Johor Malaysia, we’re challenging you to take on the standard triathlon swim distances once again on the 9th of September 2023.
From there, we’ll dive into a recovery swim on 10 Sep 23, taking us on an island hopping trip for about 3.5 km with two breaks at different islands. The crystal clear water and natural marine life will offer some much-needed relaxation and picture-perfect moments, with water breaks for our first island stop and simple snacks at the second before heading back to shore.
Swim Expo Asia offers a range of challenges for all levels of swimmers. Choose from 5 event categories covering distances that range from 400 m to 3.8 km, or start with the 400 m stand-alone event and choose one of our seven different categories. With something for every level of swimmer, this is an event you don’t want to miss!
