6th Annual Diabetes Run & Walk 2023
The event will be held on Sunday, November 12th, 2023.
Location: Botica di Servicio Eagle.
Start Time: 5:45 A.M. For 10K, 6:00 A.M. For 5K and 7:00 A.M. Youth & Kids
Organizers: Royal Aruba Aloe & Botica di Servicio
This event serves the purpose of raising funds for initiatives to promote the prevention of diabetes as well as educate others about managing diabetes better. Also, this is to encourage and bring awareness to the people of Aruba about type 1 and type 2 diabetes in prevention and management.
Location: Start & Finish at Botica di Servicio Eagle
Time:
- 10km Run: 5:45am
- 5km Walk & Run: 6:00am
- Subway Kids Run: 7:00am
Participation fee:
- 5km & 10km: AWG. 25.-
- Subway Kids Run: AWG. 15.-
*All participants will receive a Dri-Fit shirt and a medal.
Participants will receive:
- Commemorative Dri-Fit Shirt
- Unique Finisher's Medals
- Fruits & Refreshments
Route for 5 & 10km:
- The start and finish of all distances are at the parking lot of Botica di Servicio Eagle.
- The 5 KM run & walk will turn back between Blue Residences and Azure Residences.
- The 10 KM run will turn back in front of the Cove.
The Registration Page opens for registrations on August 23rd, 2023. Registration will close on Friday, November 10th, 2023, or once the maximum capacity of 1500 participants has been reached. Due to last year’s event selling out quickly, we advise you to sign up quickly to secure your spot!
Payment and BIB Pick-Up information:
- Monday to Saturday at Nature's Discount (8:30am-6pm) for registration payment.
Payment, BIB & Shirt Pick-Up at Botica Eagle EVERY Friday
- Friday at Botica Eagle (8am-5pm) for payment, bib and shirt pick-up.
Please note: we do not reserve any spots with pre-registration. Your registration is completed and confirmed ONLY AFTER payment is received. You can make your payment online or by paying at Nature’s Discount.
