2023 Forever in Our Hearts Remembrance Day
Saturday October 7, 2023
We plan to hold our 13th Annual Forever in Our Hearts Remembrance Day in person at WG Lunney Lake Farm Park in Madison, WI (Shelter #3, address: 4330 Libby Road, Madison, WI, USA)!
This event takes place in October to honor the nationally recognized month of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness to honor families who have lost babies through pregnancy, stillbirth, or in early infancy. It is being planned by local bereaved parents through the combined efforts of non-profit organizations that serve our infant loss community (Mikayla's Grace, Alana Rose Foundation, Marigold Foundation, Bereaved Parents of Madison and Healing Our Hearts Foundation).
is an opportunity to bring honor to our babies and healing to our hearts. Having the opportunity to gather together and receive support from friends and family in memory of our babies is so important. We hope that it offers families a platform to speak their babies names and also to increase awareness of Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness during the month of October.
This year's event will offer a virtual option for those who aren't able to join us in person. All baby names of virtual participants will be read at the event ceremony.
Each registration includes individual fundraising pages. Supporting our organizations through these additional funds raised will ensure future support to families who will sadly walk in our shoes one day. This allows us to continue our current programs that support families who have experienced the death of a baby or have a baby in the NICU.
We encourage all participants to invite their friends and family to the event or to have them join you in their own community by doing a virtual walk with you.
