Race Bib (virtual runners will have their bib emailed)

A portion of each registration will benefit local mental health initiatives via the Lightning Foundation, whose mission is dedicated to investing its resources and leadership for the enrichment of Tampa Bay, focusing on meeting basic human needs and enhancing lives. Registrants signing up for a race package that includes a Lightning home game ticket will have the option to donate their ticket back to be used by a local mental health advocate or a student mental health ambassador to attend a game.

Race Start Times:

- 5K and 5Mile runners will start at 7:30am

- 5K and 5Mile strollers and runners with pets will start at approx. 7:33am

- 5K and 5Mile walkers will start at approx. 7:35am

- 1 Mile Family Fun Run will start as soon as 5K and 5Milers have started, approx. 7:38am

Race day packet pickup will begin starting at 5:30am.

Mental Health Fast Facts:

- Nearly 1 in 5 American adults will have a diagnosable mental health condition in any given year.

- The best treatments for serious mental illnesses today are highly effective; between 70 and 90 percent of individuals have a significant reduction of symptoms and improved quality of life with a combination of pharmacological and psychosocial treatments and supports. However, only 47.2% of of U.S. adults with mental illness received treatment in 2021.

- Globally, one in seven 10-19-year-olds experiences a mental disorder, accounting for 13% of the global burden of disease in this age group. The consequences of failing to address adolescent mental health conditions extend to adulthood, impairing both physical and mental health and limiting opportunities to lead fulfilling lives as adults.
