Lake Norman Humane is a 501(c)(3) non-profit animal welfare organization located in Mooresville, NC. We receive no ongoing state, local, or federal funding. We rely entirely on the generosity of donors and supporters to continue our lifesaving programs. Lake Norman Humane aims to serve the animals of our community and the people who love them. We intake animals from local animal controls in Lake Norman and surrounding communities as well as from owners who are no longer able to care for their pets. Whether you are looking for a dog, cat, guinea pig, or bird; Lake Norman Humane houses a wide variety of animals looking for a new beginning.
