Come run one of Atlantic Canada's favourite 5km road races on Friday, August 18th!
The Gold Cup Trot is widely known as one of the fastest 5 km routes in the Maritimes. To add to the excitement, runners get to run in front of huge crowds, as the streets will be lined with people awaiting the Gold Cup and Saucer Parade.
Race time is 9:40 am, just before the parade starts and approaches Victoria Park. The race starts and ends in the middle of the park at the clubhouse by the ball diamonds. This year, we will be offering $100 cash prizes to anyone who breaks the course record. There will also be the usual prizes for podium finishes and some door prizes.
Cost is 30$.
