We're ready for the 3rd annual Do the Loop in support of Threshold Housing! Taking place September 17 to 23, 2023, this exciting virtual event encourages you to bike/run/roll/relay or walk your favourite loop to raise funds in support of youth at risk of homelessness.
Participants are encouraged to fundraise donations prior to the week of "doing the loop." This year all donations will go to Threshold's innovative Family and Natural Support program to help prevent youth homelessness. We have some exciting participant prizes again this year.

- Event dates: Sunday September 17th to Saturday September 23rd, 2023

Our Favourite Loops
The original LOOP of Do the Loop is the City of Victoria’s scenic 25 km border, which includes sea-side meanders and gentle inland slopes. Capital Bike has also sponsored a safe cycling route that is great for kids, families or new bikers. Check our list of suggested routes below, or create a loop from your favourite place to ride or run.

- Accessible Loop - 2.5 KM for everyone
Get creative! Past do the loopers have lapped hockey rinks, rollerbladed, paddled, or run gym lines for their loop.
- Assemble a relay team and break the route up into smaller sections. For example, five friends could each do 5 km.
- If 25 km is too long, feel free to do the loop over multiple days.
- You can do the loop multiple times (e.g. 4 x 25 km), or do any route you prefer.
Unlike a traditional race, you can start your loop at any location and go either direction. Make it your own!
Fundraising
If you create a Team during registration, you will have both an individual and a team mini-donations page. As the "Team Captain," you'll be able to edit this page as well and share its link!
Ask your friends, family and community to donate towards your Loop! All contributions have an impact and all donors will receive a tax-deductible receipt.
Again this year funds raised have double the impact thanks to matching funds up to $20,000 from the JAYMAC II Fund through the Victoria Foundation.
