2023 Labor Day Francestown 5K

The 2023 Labor Day 5K will take place on Monday, Sept 4th. This year's race will also include a Kid's Fun Run!

5K Course

This 3.1 mile scenic loop course ends with a run down Main Street and finish at the Old Meeting House. Runners will walk down Poor Farm Road for the start of the race. Runners will turn left on Todd Road where an aide station will be placed near the half-way point. They will then turn left on Pleasant Pond Road. Then left on 47 back to Main Street. There will be signs showing all turns and mile markers! This will go in the opposite direction of last year's route, which you can view with or without your Garmin device HERE.

Awards

We are working hard to have awards for the top male and female finishers not just over all, but for each age bracket (20-29, 30-39, etc.)! If you are interested in donating a product, good, or service to our awards, please contact Cyrena at WxCyrena@gmail.com.

Kid's Fun Run

We are brining back an event for the kids! This short run will start near the Library on Main Street and end at the Old Meeting House. We are still working on T-shirts and awards for the kids.

8:00 am: Bib pick-up and on-site registration begins

8:45 am: 5k walkers may begin

9:00 am: 5k run start!

9:45 am: Kid's Fun Run

5K Registration is only $20!

Registration and bib-pickup will take place at the Old Meeting House.

Race Day registration is also $20

Kid's Fun Run registration is $10

Parking

Parking is permitted on roads that lead out of town. Do not park in places that are marked "No Parking".

Parking is also allowed at the town rec fields about 1/3 mi away from town (map here)

Post-Race Refreshments

After the race, water and light snacks will be provided. You may also buy baked goods at the horse sheds starting at 10am. They will include GF and DF options!
