My Story…
My dear friend Maia from 1st grade has been fighting sickle cell disease her entire life and she has made it her life’s work to improve the lives of others with this disease. Maia and her brother Rico both have given so much to this cause, even as they both personally deal with the complications of this disease daily. All I can do is to help out a little, inspired and in awe of them. Luca (age 2) and I will walk 5K proudly in this fight. All money raised will go directly to the organization Sick Cells, a non profit organization that does sickle cell disease advocacy. Please contribute what you can and spread the word. Any amount is greatly appreciated.
