Join us for our Santa's Fun Run! Both the 5k and 10k will be chip timed. The races will start and finish at the Olson Cultural Event Center in downtown Le Mars and will lead you through residential Le Mars, onto our recreation trail. The 10k runners will also continue to the trail through our beautiful Willow Creek Golf Course. Santa's Fun Run is part of the Christmas in Hometown Le Mars family events. Come for the race and stay for the day to celebrate the joy of Christmas in Le Mars. We encourage racers and walkers to dress up in your 'Santa Suit', ugly Christmas sweater, festive socks or any other holiday attire. Stay after the race for awards and a post race snack.

Awards will take place on the stage at the Olson Cultural Center Event Center, determined by weather. They will be handed out after the 5k and 10k races, at approximately 11:00am. Awards are given to the top 3 overall males and top 3 overall females for the 5k, as well as the 10k events. Additionally, age group medals are awarded to the top 3 males and females in each age group category.
