There is a generous forest fairy who has stepped forward to match up to $25,000 in additional racer and community donations for the 2023 Perseverance Trail Run! Give a little or give a lot - every dollar raised up to $25,000 will be matched in support of the land protection and stewardship work of the Cumberland Community Forest Society!
The Perseverance Trail Run Course runs through areas purchased and protected by the Cumberland Community Forest Society and future target areas! The Cumberland Community Forest Society is a grassroots community-based organization dedicated to purchasing and protecting privately owned and threatened forest and watershed lands surrounding Cumberland on Vancouver Island BC. This ecologically rich forest is filled with creeks, streams, wetlands, habitat and a incredible trail network used by community members and visitors of all ages.
