Carter's Champions Pink Dress Run 2023

5K Run/Walk

Pink Dress 5k Run/Walk64f1233b2924c.jpg The Carter's Champions 5K Pink Dress Run/Walk will take place for the 7th year on October 21, 2023. Festivities begin at 9am at Chandeleur Island Brewing Company, 2711 14th Street in downtown Gulfport. Chandeleur will open their doors at 9:00am this year. Registration starts at 9am followed by the Breast Cancer Survivor Celebration and a good warm-up before you run or walk. The Run/Walk will start at 11:00am. All participants should pre-register online at www.pinkdressrun. To receive a Pink Dress Run t-shirt you must be pre-registered before October 17th. Walk-ins are welcome and can register at the Run but will not receive a shirt. NOTE: the Run will not be timed this year. The route is a 5K, 3.1 miles run or walk but you can turn around whenever you would like and return to Chandeleur. You CAN run, walk, ride a bike, bring your kids, dress your pet in pink and bring them along or form a Team. You WILL help local breast cancer patients treated by Memorial Health System to receive financial support to help pay for treatments, co-pays, medicine, mammograms, breast ultrasounds and more. 100% of the funds raised for the Memorial Hospital Foundation will directly assist local patients fighting breast cancer.

WHAT'S HAPPENING THIS YEAR?

After the Run, head on back to Chandeleur for food, drinks, live bands including Four d'oeuvres, JC and the Gamblers featuring our own John Carter, DJ J. Eagle, Karaoke, The "Best Dressed in a Pink Dress" $500 Contest, the Pepsi "Pink Pet" Contest, Survivor Tent Activities, new Children's Activities including the Bubble House, Cornhole, Line-dancing, Drawings, Silent Auction, Massage Envy chair massages, Vendors, Carter's Champions merchandise and the new Craft Booth featuring homemade jewelry and more,

The Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk held in Biloxi will not be taking place this year. Former Making Strides participants, teams and sponsors are encouraged to join Carter's Champions to Celebrate survivors and Remember loved ones and friends lost to breast cancer.
