L'Arche Cape Breton

L'Arche Cape Breton is a non-profit charity centred on people with intellectual disabilities, our core members.  We operate 6 houses for our core members.  Additionally we run 7 day programs for our core members and several other core members from outside our community.  These day programs include two thrift stores, a cafe, an organic garden, an art studio and two recreational programs.  None of our day programs receives operational funding from the government and thus we have to fundraise to maintain these important programs.  We do so to provide meaningful work and days for people with intellectual disabilities.
