Course Sur Sentier NB Trail Running Year-End Party

Explore Lorneville Inc. and Course Sur Sentier NB Trail Running are putting on a year-end party to celebrate the 2023 season. There will be a guided run, Lighthouse tour, and a party back at Leah & Adam's house. This event is open to everyone.

When

October 28th, 1:00pm

Where

• Group Run: Split Rock Trail Parking Lot.
• Social: Adam & Leah’s house in Lorneville (Address will be provided via email once registration closes)

What

• Guided Group Social Run – Multiple options, dependent on group size and experience. Minimum distance is 7.5km. All welcome and Nobody Left Behind!
• BBQ (hamburgers, hotdogs, vegetarian equivalent, snacks, etc.)
  1. If you have specific BBQ food/drink that you would prefer, please feel free to bring it along.
• Lawn games
• Bonfire
• Guest Speakers: TBD

Important Info:

• No refunds.
• BYO Stuff: chair, bathing suit, warm clothes, any specific BBQ items/food/snacks, booze/other vices, guitars, whatever you want!
• You are certainly welcome to swim at Adam & Leah’s beach. It will be rather cold, and the tide will be somewhat out at that point, but this is your chance to prove how hardcore you are.
• Although encouraged, if you can't make the run, you are more than welcome to attend the party, just ensure you still submit your registration.
• The house address will be sent via email to closer to the date, please don’t share the address publicly.
• Parking: You are encouraged to carpool as parking is somewhat limited at Adam & Leah’s house/street. If there’s a big turnout, people can park at the nearby community centre – a less than 5-minute walk.
• Trail Build: In the morning, there is a Nature Conservancy of Canada/Explore Lorneville led trail building session scheduled. This is a separate event; however, you are encouraged to come out early to help work on a small section of trail, learn some trail building skills, and then join for the runs/party after.
