Palo Alto 10k/5k, Double 15k and Kids 1 Mile

Do The Double 15K (10K+break+5K)

Palo Alto 10K or run/walk 5K or 1-mile for kids 13 and under




There will be four events in Palo Alto, California Saturday Dec 16.  The featured event is the Double 15k (10k+break=5k).  Times from the two legs are added together for scoring. Palo Alto 10k, Palo Alto 5k Run/Walk and the Bob Anderson's Kids Mile (for ages 13 and under).

Our courses are all run on a paved bike/running wide path.  The path winds through the beautiful Pal Alto baylands.  "Double Racing®, Double for short, is a sport consisting of two-stage running events.  Participants first run the longer stage, take a halftime break and then run the second stage. Times are combined for scoring.  Participants must complete both stages to get a time. The second stage starts 1 hour 45 minutes (restart) after the start of first leg.  

This is a fun pre-christmas event for the whole family that has been run since 2012.

Your entry fee covers: Official long sleeve race t-shirt, logo tote bag and medal for all finishers.   The winner in each age-group for the Double 15k. (19 and under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 plus) gets a special medal.  $200 prize money for Double 15k ($100 each for first male and female).  Trophies for the winners of each race and a special medal for ten-year age-group winners. Special medal for each age for the kids 1-mile race.
