“Thank Our Heroes” Run/Walk/Ride 3rd Annual
November 10th, 2023
Thank You veterans and their families for your service and sacrifice for all of us.
Today is the AMFGY6 22 to 0 “Third Annual Thank Our Heroes Run” - In honor of our Heroes which includes first responders, veterans, active duty, and their families. We want to help American Military Family (AMF-GY6) “Stop Veteran & First Responders Suicide”. For the past nineteen (19) years ( Jan will be 20 years of Service to our American Heroes), American Military Family, Inc. has been helping veterans/first responders and their families. Please join us as we help this wonderful organization and bring awareness to all our heroes in need of assistance.
What would YOU do if you received a call from a suicidal veteran who tells you he or she has no family, no home, no job, no money and suffers from Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and has a Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)? When American Military Family receives those calls, they do everything humanly possible to get these veterans/first responders the help they need, emotionally, physically, mentally and/or financially.
Join us in thanking Our Heroes everywhere with a huge :
"Thank You" to all Veterans on November 10th. We will be running from our local "Rebels" elementary and high school in Basin Wyoming out 11 Miles and back to signify the 22 Veterans suicides that happen daily in America; to raise awareness and help American Military Family (AMF) continue to help reduce the 22 veteran suicides per day to one day God willing and all of your support to bring that to zero veterans suicides per day. #AMF22to0 #AMFGY6
We ask people to run or walk or ride a bicycle for 2.2 miles, 22k or even 22 miles as we run this year with heavy hearts for all the US Marine, Army, Navy and Airforce Veterans who came home with injuries and struggles to reintegrate back into society. Tragically, every day we lose 22 of them to their war at home. God's Speed to each of them until we see you again. Semper Fi
American Military Family (AMF) provides veterans and their families with assistance, whether it be emotional, physical, mental, or financial, for their missing, suicidal, displaced or struggling Hero. We are here to aide in their road to recovery and subsequent success. To engage fellow veterans to reach out to other struggling battle buddies; to educate communities and businesses that will educate civilians about the needs and issues facing our veterans and their families; to form a coalition of combat veterans and families who will strengthen and empower one another.
