2024 Membership and Merchandise

REGISTRATION OPENS DECEMBER 1, 2023. MEMBERSHIP INCLUDES:

  • Winter Indoor Track (starting January 4, 2024)

Thursdays, 7-8 pm, University of Guelph Fieldhouse, Jan. 4 to Mar. 30

  • Summer Outdoor Track (starting April, 2024)

Tuesdays, 6 or 6:45 pm at the St. James high school track

  • Tuesday Tempo Runs (Fall-Winter, 2023-24)

Tuesdays, 6 pm starting from The Running Works, 89 Gordon Street

  • RWXGV Sunday Long Runs (2023-24)

Sundays, 8 am starting from The Running Works, 89 Gordon Street

WHAT WE DO:

Track Workouts involve running short intervals (from 200–1000 metres), at faster than 5K race pace, with recovery periods in between. There will be a Victors coach present to explain the workout and answer any training or pacing questions.

Tuesday Tempo Runs are 8-10 kilometre group runs and are meant to be run at around a half marathon or full marathon race pace. Please note: lights and vests are required (see The Running Works store).

Sunday Long Runs are held in conjunction with The Running Works store. For workout information see our website.

  • You're welcome to try us out for a week or two before paying the membership fee
  • We want you to be sure you're comfortable with our programs before committing!
  • Please introduce yourself when you first attend the track
  • Ask for Colin, Holly, Lina, Karl, Natalie, Lorraine, Lee, Robert, Deb, Zoe, Allison, or Brian (club leaders)
