Welcome Runners!
One of the most historic and iconic 50 milers in the U.S, American River 50 returns to Northern California for its 45th year! AR50 is the second largest 50-mile endurance run in the U.S. and brings together veterans and novices alike. Whether this is your 45th or 1st AR50, we are doing cartwheels to greet you in person on April 6, 2024.
You can expect first class race management from start to finish. Nine well stocked aid stations, along with the most enthusiastic and experienced volunteers will provide inspiration and motivation on your journey from Folsom to Auburn.
Back by popular demand is our AR25 race. Experience the epic adventure and run the last 25 miles of the AR50 course!!
Returning for 2024 is the AR 10-miler, featuring a point-to-point course from Rattlesnake Bar to Auburn!

Cancellation Policy
Per the running industry policy, all entry fees are non-refundable & entries are non-transferable. Once we receive and accept your entry, you will not receive a refund if you cannot participate, you may not give or sell your number to anyone else, and you may not transfer your 2024 entry fee to a future race. This policy applies to all entrants and is in effect whether you are injured, have an unexpected family/business emergency, have a medical emergency, etc. If the course has to be changed or the race is cancelled due to an act of nature there are no refunds or rollovers. There are NO exceptions.
