Canada's Longest Running Marathon turns 60!
For six decades, the Servus Calgary Marathon has been at the forefront of running in this country, attracting runners from all over the world to discover our city while staying true to our western roots and loyal to our homegrown runners.
This year we are thrilled to celebrate 60 years of running! The sport has evolved and so do the goals of our participants, which is why the Servus Calgary Marathon continues to rise up to meet the needs of our community.
Your Journey Starts Here
Participants will be able to choose between an in-person event on May 26, 2024 or the virtual race experience from May 26th to June 23rd.
Choose your distance and run, walk or wheel 5 km, 10 km, 21.1 km or 42.2 km. For one year only, we will also be adding a 60 km ultra race! And of course, the 1.2 km Kids Marathon is back!
All participants can fundraise for any of our 90+ charities through the Charity Challenge.
We will be supporting you throughout your journey to the start line with complimentary ASICS Runkeeper training plans, meet ups, beer nights and so much more. The commitment you make when you register is to yourself, but you are not alone.

SOGO Adventure Running (Ages 4-12) Closed
SOGO is teaming up with the Servus Calgary Marathon to offer a SOGO session on-site (running, outdoor games, navigation and map-reading) the morning of Sunday May 26th. Drop your child off between 6:30 - 7:15 am at the Startline/GMC Stadium. The SOGO coaching team will walk the kids over to Lindsay Park, where they will participate in a fun adventure running session from 7:30-9:00 am. The SOGO team will bring the kids back to the GMC Stadium Courtyard by 9:15 am, just in time to participate in the Kids Marathon if you’ve signed up for that! Your child must be picked up between 9:15 and 9:45am. This option is feasible for guardians participating in race distances 21.1km or 10km only. Please note youth registered in the SOGO Adventure Running will be outside for the duration of the activity. Please dress accordingly.

Please note that each participant will be charged a processing fee, plus 5% GST tax in addition to the race entry fee.
Refund Policy
Entry fees are NON-REFUNDABLE. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- All registration fees are non-refundable. Selling your race bib, or having another person use your bib in the event is strictly prohibited. This act may seem well intentioned but has many negative implications to the organizers and participants including liability, timing, results, awards and many other factors. If a registrant sells or gives away their race bib to another participant, they will not be allowed to participate in future events.
- Protect your purchase by enrolling in the Race Roster Enhanced Refund Protection Program. Participants that enroll in the refund program will be refunded if they are unable to attend due to a variety of unforeseen circumstances, such as injury & illness, COVID-19, severe weather, work travel conflict, layoffs/termination or mechanical breakdown. - In the case of in-person race cancellation, all 2024 in-person participants registered in the Servus Calgary Marathon Race Weekend will automatically be transferred to the virtual event.
